Gigi De Lana and the Gigi Vibes band are headlining a night full of rollercoaster emotions through music in the “G Rules” concert happening at The Theatre at Solaire on February 18 (Saturday) at 8pm.

After the success of their “Domination” concert tour last year in Manila, the Middle East, and the U.S., Gigi and her bandmates composed of Jon Cruz (musical director, keyboard), Jake Manalo (bass), Julius Traqueña (guitar), and Romeo Marquez (drums) are once again rocking everyone’s hearts out with their original songs and amazing covers that have taken the internet by storm.

“Actually, we wanted it to be as intimate as possible, yung abot kamay lang nila kami,” kwento ni Gigi tungkol sa nalalapit na event. “It will be something new, tampok ang mixed emotions sa show namin. And syempre hindi mawawala ang kulitan.”

Gigi, a Star Magic talent and Rise Studio artist, introduced in 2022 her self-titled debut album that earned over 3.9 million streams on Spotify by yearend. It features the hit song “Sakalam” and key track “O Bakit Ba.”

Also included in the album released under Star Music are several soundtracks including “Akin Ka Na Lang” from the ABS-CBN series “A Family Affair, “Sa Dulo” from “The Broken Marriage Vow,” and “Nasa’yo Ako” from “Viral Scandal.” Also, part of the album is her version of “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita,” the official theme song of “Hello Heart” which she starred in alongside Gerald Anderson.

MANILA, PHILIPPINES, JANUARY 13, 2022 — After a sold-out run in The Theatre at Solaire Resort in October, Becoming Ice: The 35th Anniversary Concert will do an encore for music fans to be held at the Pacific Grand Ballroom, Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino in Cebu City on February 18, 2023.

Fire and Ice Media and Productions announced the versatile performer’s milestone concert repeat fresh from the heels of its wins and nominations at this year’s Aliw Awards, where the concert bagged the “Best Stage Direction For a Concert” plum for Ice Seguerra and “Best Musical Direction” for Ivan Lee Espinosa. The event marked the multi-platinum artist’s return after a ten-year hiatus from doing major solo concerts. Its success has inspired its repeat in other venues across the country, beginning with the Queen City of the South, Cebu City. Other venues are to be announced soon.

BECOMING ICE GOES TO CEBU

Becoming Ice sings the songs of Seguerra’s stellar career from child actor to singer-composer, to director — the soundtrack of his journey, which also became a part of the soundtrack of many Filipinos’ lives, including the phenomenal hits “Pagdating ng Panahon” and “Anong Nangyari sa Ating Dalawa.” His thirty-five-year career in the movies and music, and now also in media production, has cemented his name as a pop culture reference and icon transcending age groups.

Seguerra shares, “I’m very excited to go to Cebu because the last time I did a major concert was in 2014 pa. It was back-to-back with Jake Zyrus. I love the Cebuanos kasi sobrang appreciative sila for good music. The Manila Heritage Trail and Manila Heritage Alliance, the associations of Manila’s tourism and cultural agencies, are setting the stage for the biggest online concert to end 2020 billed “Hinahanap-Hanap Kita Manila” – The Manila Heritage Concert presented by Tourism Promotions Board Philippines, City of Manila, Juancare Foundation Inc and Viva Music Publishing Inc.

The online concert, to be broadcast on December 13, is set to continue the tradition of Concert at the Park and Paco Park Presents, which have been a long-running endeavor of the National Parks and Development Committee. It promises to take both local and international audiences on a virtual tour of Manila’s cultural heritage sites featuring the music of the iconic Hotdog Band. Formed in 1972 and composed of Rene Garcia, Dennis Garcia, Ella del Rosario, Lorrie Illustre, Ramon Torralba, Jess Garcia, and Roy Diaz de Rivera, the group produced the Manila Sound that would forever be enshrined in Filipino pop culture. Who can ever forget their hits “Annie Batungbakal”, “Bongga ka Day”, “Beh Buti Nga”, “Ikaw ang Miss Universe”, “Oh Lumapit Ka” and “Manila”?

The iconic artists performing for the Hinahanap-Hanap Kita Manila Concert will be headlined by Bras Pas Pas Pas with Raymund Marasigan, Ebe Dancel, Armi Millare, Yeng Constantino, Blaster Silonga, Nicole Laurel Asensio, Bing Austria, Bea Lorenzo, Rubber Inc. and Gary Valenciano. Kiel Alo still succeeds on his concert after morissette’s mishap

Kiel Alo held his birthday concert “Ako Naman” last November 6 at the Music Museum. Kiel Alo’s first songs in his concert was already loved by the audience as he gave them hugot songs they love to hear, since Kiel Alo was also known to be a Hugot King, he can really give justice to hugot songs.

To make the night even more special, Kiel was joned by equally-talented male singers which he treats them as brothers, atleast to Jobert Sucaldito. Kiel was joined by LA Santos, Carlo Mendoza Orville.

Kiel Alo also prepared a suprise for everyone as he also channels his inner dancer in him as he gave an explosive dance numbers like a sexy production number with Aira of sexbomb and a bit of showing some skin production number with the men of Mankind Club and Club Adonis.

There were also some comedic stint in the concert with the Hologram dancers and with PGT’s “Dahon-dahon” lang segment with his also new “Nissin” comedic performance that was really enjoyed by the audiences.

Kiel Alo lastly shared the stage with the legendary opm icons such Jun Polistico and Eva Eugenio who both gave a trip down memory lane performances.

Kiel Alo’s Ako Naman concert was almost perfect until an interruption announcement was made that his special guest morissette decided not to show up or was excused due to some medical emergency, some describe this incident as an unprofessionalism of Morissette, even though, Kiel Alo was professional enough to handle the mishap and just move on and did his best in the concert.
