In a touching new Jollibee ad, the Muhlachs give us another heartwarming glimpse of their family life 
MANILA, —Being a celebrity comes with a multitude of “rewards,” including fame, fortune, and countless public milestones. But for celebrity parents Aga and Charlene Muhlach, there’s no greater joy than being able to give their best for the twins, Atasha and Andres. 
In a heartwarming new commercial for Jollibee, former beauty queen and renowned actress-host Charlene professes that her “greatest joy” in life are her twin children, who had grown up relatively away from the limelight. 

The ad begins with Charlene getting up very early to get her twins ready for their various extra-curricular activities, and continue on with glimpses into her family’s life. The message that Charlene addresses to her children in this newest Jollibee ad is almost verbatim of her Instagram post on the twin’s birthday, which, as of the commercial’s release, garnered over 50,000 likes. As it was written straight from a thoughtful and well-spoken mother’s heart, the message became an instant hit among Filipino netizens who related to the emotions in Charlene’s post.

Season 2 of the hit digital series 14/29 Petsa de Peligro JolliSerye continues its star-studded streak with third episode

After adding award-winning actresses Eugene Domingo and Cherie Gil to its cast, Jollibee’s pioneering digital series, 14/29 Petsa de Peligro JolliSerye—now on its second season—brings in another certified star to the mix with actor and singer James Reid.

James has always been a part of the ever-growing Jollibee family and was an endorser of the Filipino fast-food brand’s best-selling Burger Steak and Yumburger. This time around, he joins the JolliSerye gang as Hans Samonte, a handsome copy machine attendant at Happy Calendar House in the newest episode that was released on September 14, 2018.

“It’s been such a fun and rewarding experience to be part of the JolliSerye crew,” Reid shared. “Working with Jollibee is always a great experience but shooting for an episode of JolliSerye is a totally new but equally enjoyable experience for me.”

In this latest episode, the JolliSerye team—composed of millennials working for the publishing company, Happy Calendar House headed by CEO U.G.E. played by Eugene Domingo—is challenged to find the next calendar boys who will join UGE in the 2019 edition of the company’s calendar.

Happy Calendar House’ South Branch announces their plan to dominate the model search with their handsome Brazilian messengers. Having no budget due to Petsa De Peligro, the JolliSerye gang scrambles to find another good-looking employee to pair up with their resident Mr. Pogi ng Marketing James (played by Aldrin Angeles)—and discovers that their new photocopy boy, Hans, perfectly fits the requirement.   
 

While initially hesitant to join the contest, Hans is eventually persuaded by the team to help out in the spirit of camaraderie and the promise of a delicious yet budget-friendly JolliSavers lunch. 

Cue in makeovers, beauty shots, witty reality show references, and crave-inducing JolliSavers meals, and soon it’s time for a runway show and pose-off between the contenders from the Main and South Branches.
