KIX’s New Reality Series Follows Enchong Dee and Ria Atayde on an Exhilarating Adventure To Bond in the City that Never Sleeps

Hong Kong (August 15, 2018) –Enchong Dee, Filipino actor, model and swimmer, landed in Hong Kong recently for the filming of Extreme Ends. This new reality TV series, created by action entertainment TV channel KIX, showcases the “extreme” opposite sides of Hong Kong. 

Enchong is one of four celebrities from Southeast Asia featured in the four-episode reality series. He brings along his good friend and actress, Ria Atayde, to explore the amazing contrasts of Hong Kong. As each other’s favorite adventure buddy, they are ready to push their boundaries in this exciting experience.

Enchong first came to prominence after scoring the lead role in the hit TV dramaKatorse in 2009. His great acting in several supporting roles led to his quick rise to fame. In 2014, he started his music career and released his first single, Chinito Problems.Enchong has been nominated for several of his performances in TV shows and movies, and has already won 13 awards at the age of 29. Currently, he is starring in another hit TV series called Blood Sisters.

Ria is a Filipino actress and began her career in 2015. She is the daughter of veteran actress, Sylvia Sanchez, and the sister of actor, Arjo Atayde. Having grown up in showbiz, it was only natural for Ria to eventually appear on TV shows and movies. Ria has starred in hit TV shows including Ningningin 2015 and Maalaala Mo Kayain 2016, where she won the 2016 PMPC Star Awards for TV’s “Best Female New TV Personality” for the latter. She recently starred in a number of ABS-CBN shows this year, including Wansapanataym: Ofishially Yoursas Merlina.

And who better to go on this trip with me than my good friend Ria, who is constantly pushing me to try out new things. I cannot wait to go on this eye-opening experience and explore the unknown sides of Hong Kong with her.” said Enchong.

Extreme Ends is a reality show featuring four celebrities and their special guests experiencing the many diverse sides of Hong Kong! In this original series, viewers get an entertaining glimpse into the relationship between the celebrities and their guests. At the same time, viewers will get to see new sides of Hong Kong they have never seen before.  Each episode will feature a theme of extreme opposites, such as “fast vs. slow” or “high vs low”.  These themes will showcase the fascinating contrasts, non-stop intensity and distinctively trendy attributes of Hong Kong.
Extreme Ends is produced by KIX’s parent company Celestial Tiger Entertainment, operator of the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment.  The show is supported by Hong Kong Tourism Board and Harbour City.  Extreme Ends will air first and exclusively on KIX in October.  KIX is available Cablelink Ch. 31, Cignal TV Ch. 264, Destiny Cable Ch. 10, Gsat Ch. 117, and SKYcable SD Ch. 63 and HD Ch. 242.

With the recently announced additions of veteran commentators Mauro Ranallo and Mike Goldberg to the current Bellator broadcast team, fight night roles have been determined for the biggest evening in the promotion’s history when Bellator NYC: Sonnen vs. Silva air from Madison Square Garden in New York on June 26, 10pm, on KIX.
Bellator NYC: Sonnen vs. Silva, will see play-by-play analyst Mauro Ranallo join longtime Bellator color commentator Jimmy Smith for the first time while Mike Goldberg will anchor the desk for the historic broadcast.
Jenn Brown will host the live pre-show during preliminary action, where she will be joined by popular MMA personality Brendan Schaub and Bellator lightweight Josh Thomson, who will offer unique insight and analysis leading into the historic event. Schaub and Thomson will later join Ranallo at the desk during Bellator 180. The voice of Bellator, Michael C. Williams, will take his familiar position inside the cage as the evening’s ring announcer.
Headlined by the long-awaited bout between two of the biggest names in mixed martial arts history, Chael Sonnen (29-15-1) and Wanderlei Silva (35-12-1, 1 NC), is Bellator NYC: Sonnen vs. Silva. Emanating from Madison Square in New York City, the mecca of combat sports, this blockbuster event includes a heavyweight bout between MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko and hard-hitting Matt Mitrione, along with two championship bouts, including Douglas Lima (28-6) defending his 170-pound strap against Lorenz Larkin(18-5, 1 NC) and current lightweight champion Michael Chandler (16-3) putting his world title on the line against the undefeated Brent Primus (7-0).
