Metro Manila is now even brighter with new Solar-powered lights and gets even more secured as new CCTV cameras were installed.

Good people from “Global Goldgoal Inc.” donated 56 led billboards along Manila Locations: Quiapo (30 LED) Lerma (8 LED) Kalaw (18 LED).

The said LED Signboards will run commercial ads, public service announcements of City of Manila and anti-drug campaigns of National Government plus the upcoming big event Asian Summit and Miss Universe Pageant next year and more. All of these events will be seen in the LED Signboards that will run 82 times a day.

The street lights will be accompanied by closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and LED display signboards. These are all solar powered. The use of renewable energy resources like solar light is mandated by Republic Act 9153 or the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.

The launch of the Solar powered-billboards and lights last September 27 was attended by Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada. Global Goldgoal Inc. Vice chairman Lee Inje (Korean) was in the Philippines since 2002, he said he is really a Filipino at heart and he wants to see a brighter, more secured Manila, Global Goldgoal Inc. will be installing more Solar-powered led lights and CCTV in other areas of Metro Manila in the future.
