OPM band Sala is set to release their debut single AltG Records, \u201cHi Tita!,\u201d this March 15 on digital platforms worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song tackles the relatable and often uncomfortable experience of being pressured by family and friends to get married and have children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u2018Hi, Tita!\u2019 is for people who are being pressured by people around them to get married and have a baby.  It\u2019s an experience most of us are having.  We just want our listeners to know that they don\u2019t have to give in to that pressure.  You don\u2019t have to rush anything, and there\u2019s nothing wrong in choosing career over your relationship.  Prioritize your priorities.  Sabi nga sa lyrics ng kanta, \u2018walang masama kung lamang ang kayod sa kilig,\u201d explains vocalist Neth Macam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fourth, the band\u2019s drummer and percussionist, elaborates on the song\u2019s title, \u201c\u2018Hi, Tita!\u2019 is the title because it\u2019s usually the \u2018titas\u2019 who are asking.  They don\u2019t understand why people nowadays are choosing to focus on their careers and personal growth before settling down.  It\u2019s a message against outdated mindsets.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sala started as a trio with Neth Macam, Fourth Dayag, and Ronald Villadar, the band\u2019s bassist.  They later met Rigil Kentaurus Borromeo, the band\u2019s guitarist and producer.  With a shared passion for music and a strong bond of friendship, the band is determined to make a name in the music industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
