The Samsung Galaxy A04S has a plastic body. It has a circular back that makes it comfortable to grasp. Because it is constructed of plastic, it is light in weight. The power button and volume rocker are on the right side, and the fingerprint sensor is on the power button — ergonomic if you use your right hand. The SIM card tray is located on the left. The charging connector is USB Type-C, yet it still has a headphone jack for earbuds.
The rear design is similar to a finger print, with a wavy pattern, maybe for grip and anti-fingerprinting, yet finger prints are still visible. The front camera is housed in a water-drop notch in the upper-middle of the screen. The rear camera features three cameras, each with little bumps that cause the phone to tilt when placed backwards.

In terms of connection, it is adequate with 4G but lacks 5G capacity; nonetheless, Philippine Mobile Networks has more work to do to maximize 5G connectivity in the Philippines.
