Samsung Galaxy A04S: Design and Build

The Samsung Galaxy A04S has a plastic body. It has a circular back that makes it comfortable to grasp. Because it is constructed of plastic, it is light in weight. The power button and volume rocker are on the right side, and the fingerprint sensor is on the power button — ergonomic if you use your right hand. The SIM card tray is located on the left. The charging connector is USB Type-C, yet it still has a headphone jack for earbuds.

The rear design is similar to a finger print, with a wavy pattern, maybe for grip and anti-fingerprinting, yet finger prints are still visible. The front camera is housed in a water-drop notch in the upper-middle of the screen. The rear camera features three cameras, each with little bumps that cause the phone to tilt when placed backwards.

The rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy A04S is equipped with three 50MP sensors. I’ve been attempting to shoot with the Samsung Galaxy A04S for almost a week. I can tell that it produces really good images. One thing I notice is how crisp the photographs are, and I enjoy that!

It has this characteristic clarity for the front camera, which is nearly identical to the back cameras. But what grabbed my interest was the possibility to apply bokeh effect after a normal shot when taking a selfie.This function is useful since you could forget to turn it on, but with the Samsung Galaxy A04S, you can enable it for any previously recorded selfie.

I received this demo device with a hectic schedule, so I kept it turned on for a week, and I’m surprised that it still has more than 50% battery life after a week. In terms of connection, it is adequate with 4G but lacks 5G capacity; nonetheless, Philippine Mobile Networks has more work to do to maximize 5G connectivity in the Philippines.

The Samsung Galaxy A04S is a mid-range phone with a wide range of capabilities. This is excellent for teens; it can be used to browse articles for studies with games and to explore lifestyle in photographs and videos.

This is not a long review, it’s more of an appreciation post of realme Motion Activated Night Light.

First of all, I find the design superb as I love the minimalist design. I super enjoyed testing it out when I got it. I got curious about how real-time it can detect motion, and I can say it is real-time! (you can watch my demo video)
