Most of us have pets, either a cat or a dog or aside from these common pets, especially Filipinos who mostly owns a bantay (dog) or ming (cat) in their homes. In fact based on studies that in the Philippines, we have about for at least 10 Million household have their pets at home but this fact also comes with the fact that not all of these people have this sufficient informations about their pets,not all of us who owns a pet know really how their pets should be treated or treats the pet as member of the family but just a pet.
Well maybe because Filipinos are in lack of some right informations about the pets because our main source of information in the house, like TV don’t usually cater this kind of topic isn’t it.
But worry no more, we have good news to pet lovers, non pet lovers or simply good news to everyone as GMA News TV presents ‘Luv U Pets‘ the currently only pets oriented show in the Philippines, a Claire Delfin production.
Luv U Pet is hosted by Jamie Carmel Fournier an events host, radio DJ, instructional designer, and artist and Lestre Zapanta is well-known in the pet community as “The Pinoy Dog Whisperer.”
Yung maturity ng mga pilipino in terms of pet-ownership, medyo malayo pa talaga sa ideal, so kailangang taas yung level ng understanding, comperhension, sense of responsibilty when it comes to owning a pet… also I believe that kailangan din na we promote love, show love, hindi yung puro negatibo yung pinapakita natin sa TV like yung bata nakagat, namatay that’s very negative eh na nakikita naten sa news…this will be an alternative na positive naman yung ipakita naten.
