The Senatorial post, apart from the Presidential and Vice Presidential post, is one of the most looked forward to in the coming Philippine election. We may think that in the Senatorial race, the crucial position is the Top 1 to Top 5. But for The Good One JV Ejercito, who almost made it to be re-elected in the last election(2019). JV Ejercito fell short to secure the 12th spot behind Nancy Binay with only just a few hundred thousand votes. In an interview with Ejercito recently, he admits that he wished he had exerted more effort, maybe he could’ve made it to the top 12.
JV Expressed disappointment for not being elected for the reason that the bill he passed may not be prioritized and in all fairness to him, he has passed good laws, one of these is Universal Health Care – Republic Act No. 11223 which was signed into law by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Apart from health, JV wants to push the trains system and continue to strengthen infrastructure in the country.
