Singer and Careless creator James Reid has a new gift for his fans as he released his latest track, “u & I on Thursday (September 29). (September 29).
The cover art for the song is a viral photo of James with Victoria’s Secret model Kelsey Merritt. It is now available for streaming on various digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
“Catch me later on TikTok live from @carelessph 8 pm for the official launch. I have another surprise for you,” teased James as he promoted the single on Instagram.
One fan wrote in his post, “marketing strat 101,” referring to James’ use of his viral snap with Kelsey, which sparked rumors of a romance earlier this month.
Another admirer concurred, stating, “Yas. [It’s a] brilliant strategy.”
James wrote the song “u & I which was produced by the Grammy-winning duo 9am and The Stereotypes. It is the lead track from the actor’s forthcoming album, “LOVESCENE,” which will be available in one month. The record, which he originally planned to release as an extended play (EP), would comprise a total of 10 tracks, he said in a tweet last August.
Palm Dreams, James’ most recent studio album, was released in that year. However, he has released many singles in recent years, including “Soda”, “Hello”, and a “Legends Only” version of “Hello”, featuring Jay B of the K-pop group Got7 and Taiwanese-American rapper ØZI.
