In the grand finals of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 10 on Sunday, star jungler Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario displayed adaptability to help drive Blacklist International to a record third title with a 4-2 victory over Echo.

It was Wise and Jonmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna’s third championship together since Season 7 and Blacklist’s third championship in four seasons.

Blacklist threw Echo an early curveball when they picked up the jungler Valentina and opted to go with the triple purify spells to deal with Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera’s Kadita.

Wise had a fantastic game in the Valentina, finishing with a perfect 7-0-5 KDA to help Blacklist win the first game of the series by a score of 13-5.

In response, Echo used a shocking roaming Valir pick in Game 2 to cocontrol the match after taking a 2-0 pick off in the second minute of a turtle fight.

The Orcas won Game 2 with a commanding 10-3 kill count, tying the score after Echo quickly secured all of the turtle boosts and the lords.

In Game 3, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno’s team kept the pressure on Blacklist early, going up 7-2 in kills before being pulled back by Wise (Baratsclutch )’s lord theft in the ninth minute.

Yet Yawi (Jawhead) took matters into his own hands, using strategic flicker + ejector moves to score vital pick offs and ultimately give Echo a 2-1 series lead with a 4-0 shutout in the 13th minute.

In the fourth round, Blacklist took control early, going up 4-0 by the fourth minute before scoring two unanswered pickoffs in the sixth to win 7-2 and claim the turtle buff.

From from point on, Blacklist dominated, culminating in a 3-0 rout of Echo in the 13th minute that ultimately led to a 2-2 draw.

Blacklist dominated the first half of Game 5, taking an early 3-0 and 5-2 lead in kills and gold, respectively.

In the 13th minute, at 3-2, the defending world champions capped off their overwhelming performance with a 5-1 rout.

The decisive team fight in Game 6 occurred at the 17-minute mark, with Blacklist showing off excellent mechanical display to avoid Echo’s aggressiveness and eventually scoring a 3-0 wipe to give themselves a one-sided advantage in the midlane and a clear path to the victory.
