On Friday, October 21, Star Cinema published a minute-long trailer for Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano’s next flick. The romantic comedy An Inconvenient Love, in which they both feature, will hit theaters on November 23.
The caption reads, “LOVE IS NOT PERFECT, BUT IT CAN BE CONVENIENT.”
Ayef, played by Belle, was shown in the preview going about her regular routine of commuting and listening to music. In the scene, Donny’s character, Manny, takes one of her headphones as she approaches the footbridge.
How could one day provide relief from all the stress in your life at once? Knowing this, Belle’s character said, “Alam mo para ka talagang super hero, always there to rescue the day.”
The protagonist of An Inconvenient Love, Ayef, is a driven young woman who has little time for love until she meets Manny, a young guy who is willing to try everything, including a contractual affair. Both Enrico Santos and Daisy Cayanan contributed to the script.
Newcomer actor JC Alcantara will join Donny and Belle in the film. He’ll be playing a guy with autism. In anticipation of DonBelle’s new movie, internet users expressed their delight in a social media post.
It’s also Star Cinema’s first movie since the outbreak to return to theaters. Petersen Vargas, director of 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten and Hello Stranger, also helms this film.
