His bereaved family, including his wife Maria Fe Gibbs, and children Janno and Melissa Gibbs, has not yet issued an official statement.
It is important to respect the grieving process of the Gibbs family, and the public should refrain from speculating about the cause of his death.
Since the news of Ronaldo’s passing spread, condolences have poured in on his Instagram account from admirers who can’t believe he is gone.
“Lolo Sir” became the customary term for Ronaldo among the younger generation due to his role in “2 Good 2 Be True,” the romantic-comedy series on the Kapamilya Channel starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla. It aired from May 16, 2022, to November 11, 2022.
Ronaldo was last seen in “Ikaw at Ako,” a film where he starred alongside Rhian Ramos, Paolo Contis, and Boots Anson Rodrigo, released exclusively on December 6, 2023.
