Class and office work suspended due to SONA.
There will be no classes and office work on Monday, July 24, for President Rodrigo Duterte’s second State of the Nation Address (SONA).
The suspension is only limited to students and workers of some universities in Manila and Quezon City.
Classes and office work in Miriam College, De La Salle University and De La Salle-College of St. Benilde are suspended in anticipation of heavy traffic and mass demonstrations in the areas near the universities.
Office work in the University of the Philippines-Diliman has also been suspended due to heavy traffic in the area.
Classes in Ateneo de Manila Senior High School are likewise suspended in accordance to the city-wide class suspension announced by the local government of Quezon City.
