Paolo Contis ensured that he and Yen Santos are still in a relationship. He mentioned that some people are misinterpreting the video with Arra San Agustin, taken from a scene in Eat Bulaga! that sparked rumors of a connection between them. Paolo clarified this during his live guesting on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on GMA-7 on Wednesday afternoon, November 22, 2023.
To put an end to the issue linking him and Arra, Paolo chose to speak up during the “Talk or Dare” segment of Boy Abunda’s afternoon showbiz talk show. Boy directly asked Paolo, “Talk or dare, are you still with Arra San Agustin, or are you still with Yen?”
“Yes, Yen and I are still together,” answered the Kapuso actor-TV host. He explained that the circulating video involving him and Arra was edited and maliciously portrayed a portion from Eat Bulaga! where they did a skit about a love triangle with Arra, himself, and Ken played by Betong Sumaya.
The relationship between Paolo and Yen can be described as “going strong.” They were together, along with the actor, as a friend when they vacationed in Baguio City.
Before addressing questions about Arra and Yen, Boy first inquired if Paolo considers himself a “good parent.” Paolo admitted that he is currently not okay and, while he used to be a very good father, he believes he can be even better given the opportunity.
Paolo, along with Chariz Solomon, visited Fast Talk with Boy Abunda to remind everyone about the 28th-anniversary presentation of Bubble Gang, airing on GMA-7 every Sunday night. Paolo also mentioned that their love story drama movie, “Ikaw at Ako,” featuring Rhian Ramos, Ronaldo Valdez, and Boots Anson-Rodrigo, will be released in theaters on December 6, 2023.
