Billy Crawford and his partner, French dancer Fauve Hautot, were crowned grand champions in the final show of the 12th season of Danse avec les stars, as expected (Dance With The Stars).

Carla Lazzari, a 17-year-old French singer and fourth-place finisher on The Voice Kids France 2018, was the one Billy fought hard for on the final night of Danse avec les stars.
Despite the fact that Billy’s success on Dancing with the Stars was expected, tensions remained between his and Carla’s supporters due to their strict adherence to dancing skills.
But in the end, Billy was the winner because of his talent that was displayed from the start of Season 12 of Danse avec les stars on September 9, 2022, until it ended this Friday, November 11.
Billy’s consistent and almost perfect performances in every episode of the competition is the reason why he was nicknamed “Billy The Favorite” because of the praises given to him by the judges.
For his final dance number, Billy chose to recreate his favorite contemporary dance to the tune of “L’Enfer de Stromae,” which is close to his heart due to his personal experiences.
The next scene was emotional because after his dance with Fauve, Billy kissed the floor and cried when he said “It’s the last dance. I’m going to miss you all so much.”
Billy got 53.5% of votes from the public, while Carla only received 46.5%, so the Filipino celebrity is clearly the winner.
“I don’t believe it, it’s a dream for me,” Billy’s tearful reaction when he accepted the Danse avec les stars trophy.
