From TV Ratings race, pirating each other’s celebrities from news to entertainment, ABS-CBN and GMA Network dominated the scene on cemopetition fashion. The ABS-CBN and GMA Network rifts has also been escalated to court in some cases. But the main war of these network exists for the fans of the two networks.

Fans debate who is the true number one network. ABS-CBN and GMA Network both claim to be number one. Releasing TV Ratings on a regular basis, the ratings they show differ because they subscribe to different TV Rating measurement companies.
ABS-CBN Franchise Termination
ABS-CBN is facing closure and non-renewal of its franchise in 2020. GMA Network began to dominate in terms of viewership, but this opened the door for healthy collaborations such as ABS-partnership CBN’s with the Philippines’ third largest network (TV5).
