Actress Toni Gonzaga and Director Paul Soriano confirm engaged status on the talkshow ‘The Buzz,’ in front of the TV host Kris Aquino.
Going back seven years ago, a confession also of Toni and Paul was witnessed by Kris Aquino, on the talk show ‘Boy & Kris’ where in they confessed that they love each other and they are in a relationship. These scene was likely the same when they confirm their engagement.
The engagement issue became viral after Toni Gonzaga’s ‘Home Sweetie Home’ co-star Sandy Andulong accidentally captioned an instagram post pertaining to Toni and Paul with the word ‘fiance.’
Toni Gonzaga was absent on the previous episode of ‘The Buzz’ because of the issue but returned with a confession this Sunday (February 1, 2015).

Paul said that he proposed on January 21, the day after Toni’s birthday in front of her immediate family. “I was in tears, it was quite an emotional moment,” said Paul.
He said that he asked permission from her parents, Pinty and Bonoy Gonzaga, first. Toni’s mom apparently said, “It’s about time,” while her dad said, “Why are you asking me? Ask her!”
Paul said that he assured them that he wasn’t trying to take Toni away from her – only that he wanted to join her family, too. He said that he broke down in tears as well – and that Toni did too, when her father embraced her.
Paul also said that he was determined to provide for her and that money would not be an issue between them.
The announcement was preceded by a lengthy segment chronicling the couple’s love story, spanning 7 years, nearing 8 – narrated by Toni’s younger sister Alex Gonzaga.
Toni also addressed her sister, telling her that she would always be there for her.
