Aicelle Santos is one of the most talented Filipino singers who’s very determined to fight and reach for her dreams. Aicelle Santos tried many singing contests on television like Star in a million etc., until she finally made it to win in GMA Network’s Pinoy Pop Superstar way back in 2005.

Aicelle Santos appeared on TV shows like SOP, her theatre career bloomed as she portrayed the role of Katy in the Philippine musical entitled “Katy! the Musical,” also she stars in another musical entitled “Rak of Aegis” where she plays the lead character, Aileen, where she won Best Actress in a Musical in the 2014 Aliw Awards for her performance in Rak of Aegis. Though with these achievements, unfortunately and unbelievably with her great talent, it seemed that music labels these days were deaf of talent and just focused on making money with the mainstream talents and singers, no music label seemed to offer Aicelle an album to produce, but also fortunately, Aicelle Santos was a true dreamer and believed in herself more than any singers out there, and produced herself album entitled “LIWANAG.” The producing of the album “LIWANAG” was also made possible by Jay-R, a very good singer and a true OPM lover and supporter via his own label “HOMEWORKZ.”
LIWANAG album is an EP album that is all about Light, Hope and Love, it consists of six tracks: “Kapangyarihan ng Pag-Ibig” by Jungee Marcelo, “Palaging Ikaw” by Simon Peter Tan, “Be With You” by Arlene Calvo, “Imma Be By Your Side” by Gian Magdangal and Tuloy-Tuloy Lang” by Kiko Salazar and of course “Liwanag” that is written by Aicelle herself . Aicelle said she is so proud to produce her own album, she said that what she has learned in her career was exerted to this album.
Everyone is encouraged to support Aicelle in her new milestone in her career. We cited one of her best performance to show how Aicelle Santos is truly talented and she deserves the same or more attention that a Sarah Geronimo or the mainstream artists and singer receives.
